Tangerine Tales offers three after school art classes for all ages from elementary to SENIORS!
These classes are engaging for any age artist. Each artist will receive individual attention in a creative safe space.
Classes: Creative Canvas Painting, Comic Book Capers
& Young Picassos.
Discover the world of art through Tangerine Tales after school classes given at your school or facility location. We have 4 to 8 week sessions with 1 to 2 hours of class time per week. The day and time will be announced prior to each new session. There are 10+ artists per pod.
YOUNG PICASSOS ARTpod
ages elementary to seniors
Miss Kelly and her team will encourage each artist to experience freedom while observing and creating art. They will strengthen their skills while exploring master artists’ concepts, media, styles and techniques. Each artist will gain confidence in their own ideas and abilities. This Pod promotes social skills, the ability to speak with fellow artists about their work, and that everyone is accepted.
Projects may be created with watercolor paint, oil/chalk pastel, pencil, ink, wire, stone, wood, clay, up-cycled material and more.
CREATIVE CANVAS PAINTING ARTpod
ages elementary to seniors
Miss Kelly and her team will encourage each artist to see how they can paint on canvas and share their art in their world. They will check out the artists that have made an impact in the world of art. They will strengthen their artist skills, explore painting styles & techniques. This Pod promotes artists to build up their confidence and to be who they are as an individual. These artists’ interests will guide which new canvas project they will do.
Projects may be created on canvas with acrylic paint oil/chalk pastel, ink, paper and more.
COMIC BOOK CAPERS ARTpod
ages elementary to seniors
Miss Kelly and her team will inspire each artist to expand into the art of comics and illustration while creating characters, storyboards and comic strips. They will check out comic artists that have made an impact in their field. They will develop and strengthen basic skills in sketching, shading, drawing manga faces & figures, writing stories, inking and coloring techniques. This Pod promotes artists to build up their confidence and to be who they are as an individual. These artists’ interests will guide our projects.
Projects may be created on paper, illustration board with pencil, ink, water color and more.
